Holder of an advanced training diploma (level 4) from the Institut national des sports du Québec, Claude has been a swimming coach for over 35 years. He acted as assistant technical director of the Quebec Swimming Federation from 1999 to 2007 and as technical advisor in para swimming for Swimming/Natation Canada from 2008 to 2012. He was a member of the Canadian coaching team during the championships of world in para swimming from 2009 and 2010. Before joining Les Citadins, he was head coach of the Bluefins Beaconsfield Swimming Club from 2017 to 2022.
